NBA commissioner David Stern has had a controversial couple of months. He took it a step further this week by banning questions. A new rule during all press conferences and rulings forbids players, officials and journalists from questioning anything Stern does. He claims “this will protect the NBA from the negativity and criticism that destroys our league.” Following the new ban, Stern made the following rules:
All players must wear suspenders and bow ties
Velcro is hereby banned from all clothing / bag items
Eye contact must be held for no less than four seconds during handshakes
Stern is fighting his critics hard: the question ban certainly cements his position as the top man in the NBA. With his power secure, who knows what his next move will be?
